Merner Science Hall   Merner Hall The new science building, Merner Hall, was completed in 1944.  It provided needed class room space and a modern facility for the instruction of the sciences.  The Trade School was moved into Merner Hall.  The Trade School had formerly been located in the basement of Pfeiffer Hall.  Laboratory equipment built by students in the Trade School was moved into Merner Hall.
